Partner visas allow the spouse or de facto partner of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to live in Australia.
Subclass 820 (Onshore Partner Visa): For applicants who are already in Australia. It grants temporary residence and leads to permanent residency (Subclass 801).
Subclass 309 (Offshore Partner Visa): For applicants who apply from outside Australia. It grants temporary residence and leads to permanent residency (Subclass 100).

Child visas allow the dependent child of an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen to migrate and live in Australia permanently. This visa supports family reunion by allowing children to be raised in Australia alongside their parents.
